Red Illite clay

Uses

Red clay is composed of illite.  It is particularly rich in iron oxide and trace elements, which makes it the “healthy glow” clay par excellence.
As a hair mask: its color, red clay is intended for brown to red hair, which it will make brighter, while providing volume.

 

It is usually used as a cosmetic ingredient for the manufacture of masks, treatments, cosmetics and soaps.

It is mainly recognized for:
- Its power to eliminate impurities
- Its luminous effect on the epidermis
- Its main functions: natural colouring, absorbing, opacifying
- Its power to color cosmetic products red
